Sassafras Harbor Marina was originally known as the Sassafras Boat Company. In 1993 it was purchased by the Smith Family and completely renovated. Re-opened in 1994 as one of the premier marinas in the Georgetown Harbor.
We have 200+ slips ranging from 30-45’ floating docks and 45-60’ open and covered shed slips. The marina was improved with new offices, bath houses, swimming pool and activity center with game room and lounge overlooking the marina. The beautifully landscaped board walk is lined with picnic areas, gazebos and outdoor games. We have the largest, fully stocked marine store and gift shop on the northern end of the Chesapeake Bay. Our Service Department is second to none. The 70 Ton travel lift can take care of most boats that come to us for service.
