Founded as the Sassafras Boat Company, the property was purchased by the Smith family in 1993, completely renovated, and reopened in 1994 as one of the premier marinas in Georgetown. Today we are part of Stella Marinas, providing deep‑water slips, covered dockage, a full repair shop, yacht brokerage and resort‑style amenities.
What You’ll Find:
- 200+ Slips – Floating docks (30–45 ft) and covered/open shed slips (45–60 ft) with 30‑/50‑/100‑amp electric.
- Resort Amenities – Swimming pool, landscaped boardwalk with picnic areas, pet‑friendly grounds and a dedicated children’s play area.
- Full Marine Services – On‑site service department with 70‑ton travel lift and haul‑out for repairs.
