Location

Sassafras Harbor Marina was originally known as the Sassafras Boat Company. In 1993 it was purchased by the Smith Family and completely renovated. Re-opened in 1994 as one of the premier marinas in the Georgetown Harbor.

Directions

Directions from the North: Rt. 95 South to Exit 1A (896 towards Middletown) Drive Approximately 3 miles. Exit right onto Rt. 40 West. Drive approximately 5 miles turn left at Rt. 213. Drive approximately 22 miles crossing the C&D Canal Bridge, the Bohemia River Bridge, straight through Cecilton, turn right onto George Street right before you cross the Sassafras River Bridge. We’re the first marina on the left. Directions from points Annapolis and South: Take Rt. 50 across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Drive approximately 15 miles and take Rt. 301 North when the road splits. Drive approximately 30 miles north. After passing mile marker 114 turn left onto Rt. 313 towards Galena. Drive 3 miles into Galena. Go straight through the light. Drive 3 miles and cross the Sassafras River Bridge. Take an immediate left once you cross the bridge onto George Street. We’re the first marina on the left. Directions from Baltimore and West: Take 95 North to Exit 100 (272 towards North East). Drive approximately 2 miles and turn left on to Rt. 40 East. Drive approximately 7 miles to Rt. 213 South. Turn right onto Rt. 213 South and travel approximately 22 miles crossing the C&D Canal, the Bohemia River Bridge, drive straight through Cecilton, turn right onto George Street just before you cross the Sassafras River Bridge. We’re the first marina on the left.
