This policy applies to Stella Marine Team and its affiliated marina properties, including Sassafras Harbor Marina, Stella Swan Creek Marina, and South River Marina (collectively, “Stella Marinas,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

When you opt in to receive SMS messages from Stella Marinas, we may collect:

  • Your vessel information (if applicable)

We collect only the information necessary to provide marina-related communications.

Stella Marinas does not:

  • Share your number with third parties for marketing purposes
  • Rent or trade customer contact information

We may share information with trusted service providers who assist in delivering SMS communications (such as messaging platform providers), solely for the purpose of providing those services. These providers are contractually required to safeguard your information.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your mobile number and related information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

Access to SMS data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

7. Data Retention

We retain opt-in records, message logs, and opt-out records for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, including compliance with TCPA and A2P 10DLC requirements.

8. Children’s Privacy

Stella Marinas does not knowingly collect mobile numbers from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided a phone number without parental consent, we will delete such information.
